I had the pleasure to take Ai’s Nail Business Start-Up Training, which consists of 12 private one on one lessons. The course started out by covering the fundamentals; I had then the opportunity to work with several hand models while getting feedback and corrections on my way of working. The course was completely customizable, and I chose to focus mostly on BIAB, while also learning about gel extensions and hard gel. Over the course of 12 lessons under Ai’s guidance, I went from complete beginner to salon ready! I’ve always wanted to learn how to do gel nails myself, and I finally found an atelier offering lessons with a professional instructor. I started as a complete beginner, and after just three courses (9 hours total), I learned how to do proper nail care, apply gel polish, create simple nail art, and even remove it safely.

In the final session, I got to bring a friend and give her a full gel nail service—she was very happy with the results! Hana customized the lessons to fit my pace and goals. There was actually quite a lot to learn and remember, but if you just follow her guidance, you’ll reach a level where you can confidently do a full basic gel nail.

For multi-day courses such as DIY Nail Art Class, Gel Master Class, and Business Start Class, we recommend attending lessons once a week to maintain steady progress.

You are also welcome to discuss a different schedule if you have specific time constraints or preferences.

【Ongoing Support】

Between lessons, you are encouraged to practice at home.

If you have any questions while practicing, feel free to send photos or videos via WhatsApp. I will provide feedback and advice to help you improve between lessons.

This ongoing support is included with your training and is designed to help you stay on track throughout your course.

This option is suitable if you already have your own tools and would like to learn using your own equipment.
If you do not have your own tools yet, you can also use the tools provided during the training.

Please note; The tools provided for Training Only are for use during the lesson and are not included to take home.

【Training + Starter Kit】

This option includes a starter kit prepared especially for your training.

Your tools and materials will be prepared in advance and ready for you at the beginning of your course.
You can take the complete starter kit home after the training and continue practicing with your own tools.

The contents of starter kit may vary depending on the training course.

The tools and materials needed for your training depend on the course you choose and the training option you select.

If you choose *Training Only*, you may bring your own tools and materials or use the tools provided during the training.

If you choose *Training + Starter Kit*, the required tools and materials will be prepared for you as part of your starter kit.

Tool List

Once your booking is confirmed, we will share a detailed list of the tools and materials required for your specific training.

This allows you to prepare everything you need in advance if you choose to bring your own tools.

Lesson Policies

Lessons will end at the scheduled time.
If you wish to extend your session, an additional fee of €15 per 15 minutes will apply.
Extensions may not be possible depending on the day’s schedule, so please plan accordingly.
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel your lesson.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment or no-shows will be considered as one session used.
If you are late for your lesson, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and the missed time cannot be made up or extended.

About Instructor

Ai – Nail Artist & Instructor

Ai is a nail artist with 18 years of professional experience, holding the JNEC 1st Class Nail Technician Certification, one of Japan’s top professional nail qualifications, recognized for advanced technical skill and knowledge. After graduating from nail school in Osaka, Japan, she has worked in Japan and three other countries (Australia, France, and the Netherlands), gaining extensive international experience in salon techniques and creative nail art.

Currently in her 10th year as a freelance nail artist in the Netherlands, Ai also served as a judge for the Europe Beauty International Championship 2023 (Nail category). She operates her own home salon in Amsterdam, where she combines her expertise and passion to teach high-quality nail techniques. Drawing on her many years of professional experience, Ai’s classes are designed for both self-nail enthusiasts and aspiring professional nail artists. She offers hands-on lessons that range from applying nail art on your own nails to training on live models, providing practical experience that mirrors real salon work.
