I went into this course not knowing anything about the application process of gel polish but I wanted to learn as I enjoy painting and anything artistic. I didn’t realise the importance of the preparation and maintenance of my clients nails until Ai thoroughly explained each step and the significance of them. Ai was extremely generous with sharing her expertise and experience. As someone who had zero experience in gel or any nail polish, I wasn’t really expecting to learn a lot, but Ai taught some of the practical tips and techniques that can be used right away. She is also very open with what I can expect to achieve in 3 lessons, which was far more than I expected. After the lessons, I am very much looking forward to continuing with this new, fun journey!

I attended Ai’s Nail training for Gel Nail Polish at Atelier Hana Amsterdam.
It was a nice afternoon and I learned different techniques I.e: marble, glitter, French nails.

I had a great gel nail lesson. It was my first time to get a proper lesson although I’ve been doing self-nail sometimes myself. Ai explained step by step and she was always attentive to my questions! I liked how you can customize your lesson based on whatever you want to learn! Would highly recommend 🙂
Ai is an excellent teacher. She is patient and thoughtful, but still makes sure that you give the best service and produce the best work. She’s generous with the information and knowledge she shares, flexible enough to meet my needs, and provides a safe also supportive space for you to learn.
